We were playing rodeo when the man came up to the fence. Our fence. He was a peculiar site, what with his dyed blonde hair, which you could tell was really brown since his roots were sticking out, and one hundred dollar aviator glasses. Not very many of us had any money for that kind of stuff in our town. We lived in a cut and dry kind of place. You only had what you needed and for Christmas, the kids received new shoes after their last pair had been completely worn through. If you were rich enough, you got another pair on your birthday just for church.
As he walked up, we were set on ignoring him but he just stood there. He didn't really ju
Livid white petals
all folded with grace,
Speaking so foreign to us
but matching the pace.
The whispers float around
playing on our ears,
Small voices dancing
speaking of lost years.
They laugh with innocence
that was forgotten ago,
As the young girl bends
to touch the petals of snow.
Carried in the tame wind,
Their soft songs take flight
of all the things unnoticed
In the cool, breezy night.
There's only one question
with that one, hurtful answer,
You won't tell it to me
as if it were cancer.
I tried and I begged
still you wouldn't bend,
It could all be fixed
if the answer you would lend.
You look at me now
with confusion on your face,
But you're not the one who's lost
instead, the girl with no grace.

I'm glad I'm way high in the oak tree. Yesterday I saw a bunny nibble on a leaf on a bush. We all listened to his shrieks. He cried the whole night. Poor fellow. Didn't know what he was getting into when he volunteered for bush duty this year. A girl tried to climb our tree today. The neighboring leaf, calls herself Shirly, was so close to getting plucked. That girl was a good climber. First human to get up near us.
Juli Fünft-
There were so many loud bands last night. Those humans sure know how to make some noise. The leaf couple downstairs wanted to join them. Rowdy bunch, they are. I wish I had gotten assigned to a country
Deep in thought
Dreaming away
What was happy and amazing
Is now solemn and grey
In the year 1913
There was a massive flood
Washed Dayton, Ohio away
And smothered it with blood
1400 horses dead
The houses all gone
My mama has left me
All revealed by the dawn
It all started on Easter
With just a slight drizzle
But the water just rose
Like hot water that sizzles
Cracking apart
Was the levee on Main
The waters came rushing
Oh, it's too terrible to explain
Dayton has not suffered this
But one other time
The flood of 1866
Took every last dime
The water was deep
And blood-chilling cold
12 feet down it went
Halfway you los
I hope you don't mind
If I take this seat
Please, be so kind
As to talk to me
I don't know what I did
But whatever it was: I'm sorry
You turn to me
With that cold, cold glare
I hardly believe
That you don't even care
I don't know what I did
But whatever it was: I'm sorry
Please, don't keep it hid
'Cause I never meant to hurt you
Some people say
That you're jealous of me
Waiting for the day
Of my downfall
Others say it's the guilt
From something you did
Inside it's all built
Into one big mess
You act like it's a sin
To acknowledge my existence
You act like I'm the pin
That caused the open wound
Let it all out
You mig

"No, I'm not doing this, Cami." Sighing, I pushed the laptop away from me. Shaking my head and crossing my arms over my chest.
I was sitting in my room with my best friend, Cami. She was, as usual, trying to get me involved with another one of her Chat Sites. Whether for her own reasons or to convince me to start dating.
"Come on, Erik! You haven't even tried it!" Cami moaned in annoyance, pushing the laptop back towards my lap. Then she made that puppy dogface, the one she knows I can't say no to.
Unable to resist the face, I bowed my head in defeat. Placing my fingers a bit over the keyboard, I blinked blindly at the screen,

Today is the start of the annual celtic festival in my town. Well, really it's in the city that my town is outside of but it's still pretty darn awesome.
I'm volunteering to work tonight during the festival but it's raining right now =[ Hopefully it will subside later when my shift starts.
Also, I get to see Gaelic Storm in person! That's probably my favorite part of the festival. They're there every year =]
The air show is this weekend too. I want to go with my dad to see it. I'm really excited this year.
One last bit.
I recently started playing this one game called Trukz. You, like, are a semi truck driver and it's cool. You all should
I LIIIIIIIIVE AGAIN!!
I don't actually have much to say except wow I kind of forgot about this place.
I do that a lot =
I'm not sure if I have any art to put up but omg I have 110 deviations to look at! @_@
Well, it's been a while...actually...I think it's been about 2 months since I last updated this thing...OOPS! MY BAD!
I haven't really made anything...unless you count random doodles I made for people in paint! lol but I don't think those work here. =P
So...I'm basically in love with this guy who is 4 years older than me. I know my dad would shoot me before he even considered saying yes.
I talked to a friend about it today. He told me I could make it work if I wanted to...but I don't think I can. Why would a guy in college want to go out with me? A stupid old public high school girl whose last boyfriend only lasted 5 days before she dumped
